Be part of the PPO’s next chapter, as incoming Music Director and Principal Conductor leads the orchestra in their first performance together: the final concert of the PPO’s 27th Season. Together, they will present the exciting ballet suite from Massenet’s opera ‘Le Cid’, based on the famous play of Henri Corneille; Barber’s ever-popular Adagio for Strings, known for its ability to evoke the deepest emotion from its listener; and the mighty 5th Symphony of Dimitri Shostakovich, so popular at its premiere performance that it received a 40 minute long standing ovation. This is a performance not to miss!

Featuring the Philippine Madrigal Singers and Barangay Folk Dance Troupe. The Catholic Bible Society Foundation, Inc. and the Francisca Reyes Aquino Foundation are sponsoring a cultural dance to present the vital picture of Filipino life and culture. This is to encourage the young generation to appreciate and preserve the authenticity of the Philippine Folk Dances. Proceeds of this sponsorship will help the Evangelization program of the Catholic Bible Society by sharing free bible to every Filipino family and the continuous promotion of Francisca Reyes Aquino Foundation of the Philippine Folk Dances.
