The Science Film Festival is initiated by the Goethe-Institut in partnership with the ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc., the Embassy of France and the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity in cooperation with the Department of Education and the Department of Science & Technology. The festival is an officially associated event of the UN International Year of Biodiversity 2010 and the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity is a special partner of this first edition of the event in the Philippines.
The festival takes place at the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center, SM Mall of Asia, SM City North Edsa, the Podium, Alliance Française, Philippine Science Centrum, Museo Pambata, Quezon City Science Interactive Center, Ateneo de Manila University, the National Library of the Philippines and the National Museum from November 16 – 30, 2010.
